The Blogger Recognition Award

For the third time in my life, here I am with an award. The first time was sometime last year, not on wordpress, in real life. But that is a story for another day, maybe someday in 2019. The second one was a few weeks back when HeartsInInk gave me The Miranda Sings Award, which I never got to post. And here I am with this one, for which I am also nominated by HeartsInInk, so let me savour the sweetness of being recognised!
The Rules

  1. Write a post to show your award
  2. Give a brief story of how your blog started
  3. Give two pieces of advice for new bloggers
  4. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog
  5. Select fifteen or fewer other bloggers you want to give the award

How NaijaFreshGraduate Began
To tell the truth, I fell in love…with a blog! I was just blown away by the thought that you could create a world of your own where you shared everything with total strangers that would grow to become true friends. I just really wanted to be part of something bigger than myself, that involved others too. Pure Bliss!
Advice to New Bloggers
First of all, be your own fan. There is nothing as encouraging as looking at something you made and being proud of it, loving every bit of it, and being ready to do anything for it. Just fall in love with your blog everyday!
Secondly, engage with other bloggers. It takes lots of time, if you ask me, but it is worth it. It helps you remain on your toes, trying all you can to be better and do better.
Allow me to add this last thing: DO NOT BE PROUD! Let me just leave it like that 😊.
And now, here is a big hug to HeartsInInk for nominating me for this award. Baby girl, thank you for making me blush, for the second time. May your heart continue to ink goodies. May your creative pot never run dry. And may you never eat boiled blood. Shine on.
Right now, I’m supposed to nominate blogs to receive this award too.
So Dattaragurl, you are the first to come to mind, I love your heart.
I just love UrbanOverSabi, for the way you make me laugh. I love your mind.
Deshi of Spoken Voiceless gives me reasons to smile, too.
Clare, you deserve this, too because your journey so far is amazing.
Omoackin, comman carry award that you deserve, brother.
Deeglamour is just amazing. You deserve this, dear.
So there. Thank you many much!
