Today was lit!
The commissioner for women affairs came around. She gave us money to share, #5000. We were 4. I split the money, a thousand to each and Enyi suggested we keep the remaining 1k to ourselves. I’m not proud of it, but I did it. You see, we’ve been planning to go to this place they call Ronan here. They say its like Shoprite. The big C starts small, indeed!
Anyway, just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, some guy just brought us a nice loaf of bread. It was Ronan bread, the one we were told people queue up so long for. It was from the commissioner.
I know I sing it a lot, but really, don’t y’all just love my PPA already!?
